As another year draws to a close, it’s important for us all to reflect on our achievements, both personally and professionally, and recognise how far we’ve come. It’s easy to roll straight into the next year without pausing, but as a team we love taking time to come together and reflect on what has changed at Cygnets, what challenged us, and what we’re proud to have achieved.
We feel incredibly lucky to be part of a growing community of parents and children across the UK. And it’s safe to say none of this would be possible without you, so we’re excited to share our 2025 round-up with you.
🧒 Number of Students Across Our Network: 3,000+
At Cygnets, we run classes for 48 weeks of the year. During term time, we deliver weekly after-school and weekend classes, alongside creative workshops during half terms, Easter, and the summer holidays. This approach ensures creativity remains a constant presence in our students’ lives. We love knowing our classes offer children a gentle, creative pause between school and home.
📍Number of Branches Across the UK: 53
This year marked a period of incredible growth for Cygnets. We now operate 53 branches across the UK, with 23 new branches launching this year alone. Passionate and talented franchisees own and run each branch, and they bring our mission of “inspiring creativity and confidence through fine art” to life every single week.
🎨 Number of Projects: 80
We release new projects for every term and holiday workshop. Our team carefully designs each project to develop core artistic skills through our step-by-step approach. Led by professional artists, our fine art classes focus on drawing, painting, and sculpture, helping children build real artistic skills in a fun and supportive environment.
📣 Cygnets Conferences: 2
This year, we proudly hosted two Cygnets Conferences in London for our network of franchisees. Each event brought together workshops, presentations, and storytelling, allowing us to reflect, learn, and explore how we can continue to be the UK’s leading children’s fine art school.
🏆 Awards Entries: 750+
This year, we launched our first National Art Awards – a nationwide competition designed to inspire, empower, and showcase the incredible talent of children and young artists across the UK. We received over 750 entries from children of all ages, and we feel truly grateful for the time, creativity, and effort poured into every piece of artwork. 🎈 Number of Anniversaries: 1
Cygnets proudly celebrated its 10 Year Anniversary this year since our inception in 2015 – that’s 10 years of inspiring the next generation of young artists, and 10 years of growing our community of inspiring Cygnets franchise owners. Our mission is the same now as it was then: to make high-quality art education accessible to every child, helping them build skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of creativity.
🧑🎨 Paint Brushes Used: 9,326
At every class, we provide high-quality fine art materials and mediums, giving children the freedom to explore, experiment, and express themselves fully.
🤝 Friendships Made: 6,052
One of our proudest achievements remains the friendships formed in our classes. Cygnets brings children from the local community together to sit down, create, laugh, and have fun – often forming friendships that extend far beyond the art class.
