Cygnets Caterham is run by former Primary School teacher and graphic designer Viv. Working as arts coordinator at an outstanding school for many years, she was responsible for the planning and teaching of the arts curriculum across the years, whilst also running art clubs and workshops for many schools in the area. Her Year 5 class won the London Borough of Croydon’s Windrush award as well as the Fourth Plinth Schools award for Trafalgar Square.

Having previously worked in advertising and publishing, Viv is passionate about bringing quality and enjoyable art teaching to children and giving them the opportunity to work with different mediums. Having done a lot of research, she found the Cygnets website and strongly believes that this programme and way of teaching will greatly enhance children’s understanding and enjoyment of all forms of art.
