We offer term-time classes, holiday workshops, private tuition, and birthday parties for children aged 5+. Our focus is on teaching traditional fine art skills—drawing, painting, and sculpture—through engaging, hands-on projects led by experienced artist-teachers.

Each term, students explore a new artistic theme while learning a variety of techniques and materials. Our all abilities classes are suitable for children from the age of 5 up to 12.

Meet Leigh
Cygnets Art School in East Belfast is led by Leigh, a graduate of the Belfast School of Art and practicing artist. She believes in the power of art, to connect us, evoke emotions, and bring beauty into our lives.
Leigh spent many years working in art departments, design studios, and creative agencies across the globe. Returning to Northern Ireland to be closer to family after the birth of her son. Now, she brings her global experience—and a whole lot of colourful energy—into Cygnets Art School East Belfast.
With an encouraging and nurturing approach, Leigh helps young artists build confidence and discover their unique artistic abilities in a supportive space. She ensures classes are engaging, inspiring students to explore new techniques and express their creativity.
