We offer term-time classes, holiday workshops, private tuition, and birthday parties for children aged 5+. Our focus is on teaching traditional fine art skills—drawing, painting, and sculpture—through engaging, hands-on projects led by experienced artist-teachers.

After-School & Weekend Classes for Ages 5+
Each term, students explore a new artistic theme while learning a variety of techniques and materials. Our all abilities classes are suitable for children from the age of 5 up to 12.

Meet Melissa
Cygnets Horsham & Dorking is run by Melissa Campbell—a qualified teacher and practising artist.
She has a degree in Fine Art Printmaking and a Masters in Photography. Working across printmaking and painting, her work has been exhibited widely and she has curated exhibitions and given public talks on her work.
Melissa has 15 years’ experience delivering art workshops to all ages from nursery school to university. She also has extensive experience supporting children with SEND and anxiety.
Passionate about arts education, Melissa creates a calm, inclusive space. She enjoys helping young people develop their creative confidence as they learn new techniques to produce amazing artworks.
