Each term, students explore a new artistic theme while learning a variety of techniques and materials. Our all abilities classes are suitable for children from the age of 5 up to 12.

Meet Michelle
Cygnets Art School Margate is led by Michelle French, a dedicated education professional with over 25 years of experience working across a wide range of educational settings, including the past 10 years as a Forest School Leader.
Michelle is currently completing a Level 4 Qualification in Outdoor and Adventure Therapy, further enhancing her ability to deliver therapeutic, trauma-informed learning experiences through teaching art.
Throughout her career, Michelle has supported children of all ages and abilities, working closely with families to help every child reach their full potential. Her holistic approach combines high-quality fine art tuition with a nurturing and supportive environment, where children are encouraged to develop independence, curiosity, creativity and self-expression.
Having called the beautiful seaside town of Margate home for the past 10 years, Michelle is passionate about being part of its vibrant creative community. Inspired by the town’s rich artistic heritage, stunning coastline and unique character, she is delighted to share her love of art with local children and families.
