We offer term-time classes, holiday workshops, private tuition, and birthday parties for children aged 5+. Our focus is on teaching traditional fine art skills—drawing, painting, and sculpture—through engaging, hands-on projects led by experienced artist-teachers.

Each term, students explore a new artistic theme while learning a variety of techniques and materials. Our all abilities classes are suitable for children from the age of 5 up to 12.

Meet Daniel
Daniel is a passionate creative with a background spanning the arts, education, and community engagement. He studied Surface Decoration at The London College of Printing, and later went on to write and illustrate several published children’s books — combining his love of storytelling and visual art to spark imagination in young minds.
His inspiration to open Cygnets Rickmansworth came in part from homeschooling his daughter during lockdown, where he discovered a real joy in getting involved with her arts and crafts projects. That experience reinforced his belief in the power of art to educate, entertain, and connect.
Daniel is committed to providing high-quality, engaging art classes that help children grow in confidence while developing real artistic skills. With a background also in personal training and business development, he brings both energy and structure to every session.
