Megan’s creative journey began with her first Saturday job as an art assistant at children’s workshops, and after a career working in education and the arts, she is delighted to be returning to where it all began. Having always loved being creative, she has a particular passion for printmaking and loves to experiment with different artistic processes.

Megan believes that creating is an important part of childhood, giving children the opportunity to explore, express themselves and discover what they can do. She is passionate about creating a welcoming and inspiring space where children can have fun, build confidence and enjoy making art.

For Megan, the best part of an art class is seeing children be amazed by what they can create themselves. She loves those moments when a child looks at their finished work and realises, “I made that!” and hopes to create plenty more of those moments at Cygnets.
