Every child has a unique way of seeing the world and my role is to help them to express it.
Mika Kowalewicz
Headteacher | Cygnets Art School Worcester
Meet Mika
I have a passion for nurturing young people to bring out their talent and creativity. I believe art is so much more than a subject—it’s a way for young people to express themselves, build confidence, and explore their place in the world.
With a background in mental health and years of experience in youth education and art tuition, my approach to teaching blends creativity, support, and a whole lot of fun. My classroom is a space of creativity and exploration, where every student is encouraged to be themselves, explore their imagination and learn new skills.
Whether we’re painting, drawing, sculpting or printing, I see art as a powerful therapeutic form of communication and self-discovery. I’m here to guide, inspire, and support each young artist on their creative journey.
