At Cygnets, we believe every child should have the chance to explore their creativity, build confidence, and discover the joy of art. We also know that the cost of extra-curricular activities can put this out of reach for some families. To help change that, we run the Cygnets Art School Bursary Programme across many of our HQ branches.
What is the Bursary Programme?
The bursary programme is designed to improve accessibility for families who may otherwise struggle to afford Cygnets Art School classes. It’s one of the ways we’re working to ensure that children from all backgrounds have the chance to take part in our classes and workshops.
How it Works
Families who are eligible can apply for a bursary place, which provides 50% off the full class price. This makes regular art classes more affordable, without compromising on the high-quality teaching and individual attention that Cygnets is known for.
Who is Eligible?
The scheme is available to families whose household income means they cannot meet the full cost of enrolment. Applications are assessed individually, and we aim to make the process as straightforward and supportive as possible.
Why We Run It
Art is more than just a creative skill – it helps children develop confidence, problem-solving, focus, and self-expression. We don’t want financial barriers to prevent young artists from benefiting from these lifelong skills. By offering bursary places, we’re able to open our doors wider and welcome children who might not otherwise get the chance to take part.
How to Apply
If you think your family may be eligible for a bursary place, navigate to your local Cygnets branch page and fill in the application form that will appear at the pop-up. Find your local Cygnets >
