At Cygnets Art School, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority.

We are committed to creating safe, supportive environments where children feel confident, respected and able to express themselves creatively.

All Cygnets branches operate in line with UK safeguarding legislation. Each branch appoints a trained Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) responsible for overseeing safeguarding procedures locally.

Our safeguarding approach includes:

• Enhanced DBS checks for all teachers

• Safeguarding training for staff

• Clear reporting and escalation procedures

• Professional conduct expectations

• Secure handling of personal information

We work in partnership with parents and, where relevant, schools and local authorities to promote children’s welfare.
