Cherise Woods
Cherise is a passionate artist and the headteacher of Cygnets Art School Taunton, where she combines her love for creativity with her dedication to nurturing young artists. Alongside her role at Cygnets, she runs her own arts and decoration business, selling her work across social media, Etsy, and Shopify. With an entrepreneurial mindset, strong organizational skills, and over a decade of experience in the arts, she is well-equipped to lead and inspire as headteacher.
Cherise earned her BA (Hons) Degree in Fine Art in 2017 and has since dedicated herself to developing her independent art practice while expanding her expertise in digital marketing. Her creative journey has also led her to run engaging art workshops for children, fostering a love for artistic expression from an early age. She is now excited to bring this energy and experience to Cygnets, offering fun, hands-on lessons designed to inspire the next generation of creatives.

Private one-to-one tuition, at your home, with one of our experienced artist-teachers. Ideal for scholarships/ college applications; GCSE/ A-Level preparation, or just for fun! Classes can follow our set curriculum, or explore topics and mediums of the student’s choice. Please get in touch for availability.
Private Classes
Ages 5+
Private group classes for two or more students, at your home, with our experienced artist-teachers. Perfect as a one-off session, or weekly group class with siblings or friends.
